This performance art event is part theater, part art installation, part ceremony. 3000 pounds of wet clay are transformed on stage in front of the audience. Created and directed by ceramics professor and artist, Summer Hills-Bonczyk, and participants of the 2022 <a href="https://sites.google.com/view/performanceartintensive/home?authuser=2" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Performance Art Intensive.</a> Waterlines provides balm for a raw, exhausted world, it is a work of collective healing, a call to reclaim wholeness and deep joy, and a testament to the transformative power of art. With original sound design by <a href="https://www.4fthr.com/about.html" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zac Hills-Bonczyk </a>and poetic contributions by <a href="https://embodiedarts.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Rebecca Frost.</a>Waterlines is the culmination of a week-long immersive retreat undertaken by 15 participants in the 2022 <a href="https://sites.google.com/view/performanceartintensive/home?authuser=1" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Performance Art Intensive. </a>Stick around for a 30-minute Q &amp; A with the director and cast after the show.
