About this event

No drawing or painting experience is needed for this class. A line drawing of the barn will be already on the watercolor paper and students only need to paint with watercolors.

Elizabeth will demonstrate different watercolor painting techniques. Students will choose their colors and Elizabeth will be available for one on one help as time allows.

All materials to create a watercolor painting will be supplied, but if you have your own paint brushes, you’re welcome to bring them! Refrain from wearing anything light colored, just in case any paint splatters.

Supplied materials include professional quality Arches Cold Press watercolor paper and professional quality M. Graham Watercolor paints.

**IMPORTANT** Don't forget to bring sunprotection, such as sunscreen, and warm clothes if the forecast shows cold weather because this CLASS IS OUTSIDE. We will be under a sun canopy, but it is open to the elements. The lavender field will be right next to us, so there will be BEES in the area. And don't be surpised if a flock of chickens comes and hangs out with us for class!

PRE-REGISTRATION is REQUIRED. This is the only place to purchase tickets.

    Organized by

Elizabeth of Western Rose Studios has been creating watercolor paintings of people and pets for nearly 20 years and is now sharing her love of art by teaching.
