Join the watercolor workshop by Mario A. Robinson, August 9 to11from 9 AM to 4 PM

Followed by a week exhibition of created arts. 🎨

Mario A. Robinson is an Exhibiting Artist Member (EAM) of The National Arts Club, an Artist Member of The Salmagundi Club and a Signature Member of The Pastel Society of America. His work has been featured several times in The Artist's Magazine, The Pastel Journal, Watercolor Magic, American Art Collector, Fine Art Connoisseur and on the cover of American Artist magazine.

¿What to expect?

This workshop will focus on accurately drawing and painting the portrait. The live model will sustain a single pose for the duration of the session. This sustained focus on the model will allow students to slow down and render the subject in a comprehensive manner.

Students will execute a detailed drawing of the model and learn how to employ a monochromatic block-in to properly identify the values of the subject. The class will culminate with a full color application of color, using thin glaze layers of watercolor. The objective of the workshop is to demonstrate how a methodical approach increases the depth and sense of realism in paintings.

The instructor will give demonstrations throughout the day and provide personal instruction.
