Washington Procurement Connect is DES’ annual conference that connects Washington state small, diverse, and veteran-owned businesses with the procurement professionals from state and local governments, including counties, cities, schools, ports, commissions, and more.
This conference is a confluence of cutting-edge training for both procurement professionals and diverse businesses.

- Procurement professionals will receive training accredited by The Institute for Public Procurement (NIGP) to help them follow best practices in supplier diversity.
- Businesses will meet directly with the agencies at all levels of government that buy goods, services and engage in public works projects.
Ticket Types
If you are a small business, register as a "Business Booth Ticket (Seller)". You will have a table in the expo hall where government buyers can visit you to learn more about the goods or services you sell. We recommend you bring materials to highlight your business, though it is not required. We'll work to get the right government buyers to your booth so you can make meaningful connections with potential customers.
If you are a local, state, federal, or other government agency, register as a "Government Entity Ticket (Buyer)". Government attendees will meet businesses in the expo hall. When you register, it is important to enter what you and/or your agency expects to buy in the near future. If you're unsure, we encourage you to reference or create a forecasted purchase report for your agency. We want to make sure you make meaningful connections at this event, and this information is essential for making that happen.
