WASHINGTON DC DAY TRIP 2024 | NYC DEPARTURE
The capital of the United States of America, home to the most powerful politicians in the world, is about 4 hours drive from New York City. This makes it ideal for a day trip from New York. On this excursion, your guide will show you all the most important and beautiful corners of Washington DC - such as the White House, Lincoln Memorial, The Capitol and much more... At 6:30 a.m. we set off from New York towards the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland, before finally arriving directly in the capital. We begin with a visit to Arlington National Cemetery, where the Kennedy family gravesite is, before continuing on the city tour. During the city tour you will visit the Capitol, the House of Congress and the White House to get to know the heart of the United States government. Visit the memorials to those killed in the Korean War and Vietnam, as well as the memorial to Abraham Lincoln. We then continue to the Air and Space Museum with a free tour and its exciting attractions followed by a lunch break. You set off in the afternoon to finally arrive in New York in the evening.
