Who can participate in the Warrior Run?

The event is open to all fitness levels! You can run, jog, or walk the course. Kids and families are welcome to join the fun at Basecamp.

Do I have to run for the full 60 minutes?

No. The Warrior Run is about challenging yourself at your own pace. You can complete as many or as few laps as you’d like.

What do I need to bring?

Comfortable athletic shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and lots of energy! Water stations will be available, and you’ll have access to vendors at Basecamp during the event.

Will there be parking available?

Yes, free parking will be available at the Shores City Office lot and the Grosse Pointe Shores Park lot.

What time should I arrive?

Basecamp opens at 12:30 PM. The Warrior Run begins promptly at 1:00 PM and runs until 2:00 PM, so please allow time to check in, stretch, and explore Basecamp.

What happens at Basecamp?

Basecamp is the heart of the event—featuring a live DJ, local vendors, giveaways, and a supportive community vibe. Friends and family are encouraged to hang out there during the race.

Where does the money go?

All profits from the Warrior Run support the JT Mestdagh Foundation, which helps individuals facing adversity and physical challenges.

Will there be prizes?

Yes! Every participant will receive a special Warrior Run hat, bib, and finishing medal, plus more.
