A celebration of community, live music, and unique artistic expression - join us at RichesArt Gallery for an evening of delightfully distinct live music. The Misfit Musician Showcase Series seeks to preserve that unique “Old Austin” feel by highlighting standout performers who are some of the most talented emerging musicians in Austin. This once-in-a-lifetime evening will be recorded and compiled into a live album, providing an everlasting snapshot of emerging artists and independent music in Austin.
You won’t see a lineup like this anywhere else.
Prepare to be moved and mesmerized by five inspiring acts, including the “music channelling” magic of E’naj B Da Light who freestyles smooth and soulful songs straight from the Source, based solely on prompts given by the audience! Sing/yell along with Timmy Vigilante on their brilliantly crafted, intellectual folk punk storytelling songs, performed on electric mandola, accompanied by the deep resonant drumbeats of perfectly normal human being just-like-you, Indigo Starbeam. Laugh, cry, and be enchanted by the clever and captivating sounds of Ashley Bianca and her ukulele, fall in love with the soaring vocals of Chrissy Symone, and find catharsis through the raw emotional power of The Acoustic Kid. We'll have a food pop-up, $5 deals at the vintage store, vendors, face-painting, and a friendship bracelet making station! A little something for everyone.

Warren Records seeks to elevate local musicians with a fast-track to releasing their music onto streaming platforms. Each artist who participates in the showcase will have 2 songs selected from this live set to be included on the 3rd Misfit Musician Compilation Album, and released to all streaming platforms, distributed + produced by Warren Records.
Shake up your music taste, discover your next favorite local Austin artist, and become part of music history as we record LIVE the third installation of Warren Records’ Misfit Musician Compilation Album. With the photos, videos, and recordings of their performance at the showcase, each musician leaves the Warren Records showcase with the building blocks they need to enhance their online presence and create an EPK (Electronic Press Kit), empowering them to book better gigs, find better representation, and impress wider audiences in Austin and beyond. There are many barriers for independent artists - Warren Records hopes to remove some of these barriers by protecting and uplifting Austin artists and ensuring their continued faith in their dream and the continued creation of their art.
Warren Records is dedicated to infusing the artists' community in Austin with funds, opportunities, and resources. All participating artists will be paid for their participation in this event in accordance with the City of Austin Musician Standard Rate of Pay. All musicians retain the rights to their songs + receive masters of their recordings as products of this performance.
