What Is a Miniature Game?
Miniature games, often called wargames, invite you to command tiny armies on a tabletop battlefield. These armies come to life through meticulously crafted miniature figures, each representing a soldier, hero, or monstrous beast. Your decisions determine your troops' movements, attacks, and strategies, as you clash with your opponent for tactical supremacy. In Warhammer 40,000, you'll lead the noble Adeptus Astartes against the tide of Chaos, command Ork warbands in an eternal WAAAGH!, or unleash the psychic might of Eldar Eldritch Spears. Outsmart your foe, roll the dice and witness epic battles erupt across your tabletop terrain.
But the glory of Warhammer 40,000 extends beyond the battlefield. Breathe life into your warriors with your own colors and designs, transforming them into a personalized reflection of your fighting spirit. Share tales of heroic sacrifices and daring victories with your fellow commanders, forging legends in the annals of the 41st Millennium.
Daily Schedule
Camp begins at 9:00 a.m. and runs through 3:00 p.m. each day. There will be a morning session, followed by lunch and free play of other games in the Game Kastle College Park demo library. Store staff will be on hand to teach demo library games. After lunch and free play, campers will return to the war tables for an afternoon session of play. There will be a snack in the middle of the afternoon session. Game Kastle College Park will provide a daily boxed lunch and snack to the students as part of their tuition.
Weekly Schedule
● Monday – Welcome to the Darkness: Begin your journey in the 41st Millenium with learn-to-play battles and selecting your Combat Patrol to build!
● Tuesday – Happy Little Tyranids: Finish building your units and learn to paint them with the color palette of your choice.
● Wednesday – Base to Table: Learn to navigate the unique playstyle of your army and face off in epic battles!
● Thursday – Terrible Tactics: Deepen your understanding of the game by learning about your fellow campers’ strengths and weaknesses. Practice how your squad interacts with others!
● Friday – For Glory!: A final day of battles! Experience the thrill of tournament-style play, putting everything you've learned into practice. Get mentorship on the next steps for growing your army and collection, and learn about the awesome local events for continuing your Warhammer journey!

You can’t win a battle without gear, and we are here to get your ready! Each camper will receive a bundle of items to start their Warhammer 40K journey. This will include:
● A Warhammer 40K Combat Patrol ($160.00 retail)
● A measuring tape ($10.00 retail)
● A set of six-sided dice ($12.50 retail)
