The Wankinquoah Rod & Gun Club (WRGC) was established in 1927 by a group of sportsmen “To encourage and engage in the sports of hunting, fishing and boating and all social activities connected therewith, and to provide social amusements and entertainments for its members and to furnish them with rooms and premises for social gatherings, lectures and displays of moving pictures of hunting and fishing scenes and activities….”

The WRGC membership meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at its clubhouse on Pine Street in Middleborough, Massachusetts. Guests are welcome!

Wankinquoah owns over 300 acres of land on Pine Street. The club has a state-of-the-art clubhouse, indoor firearm and archery ranges and a newly renovated outdoor range on its property on Pine Street in Middleboro.

The mission of the WRGC Associates is to foster a love and respect for the outdoors, teach the next generation the skills necessary to become responsible and ethical sportsmen and to provide our youth with opportunities to grow as leaders. With a focus on education and fun, our group participates in goal setting, fundraising, and determining the monthly calendar events within a monthly meeting modeled after WRGC member’s meeting.

All youths between the ages of 10 and 17 are eligible to become WRGC Associate Members.
