About this event

Campers will explore art and nature in a renovated 1880s barn nestled in Crescent, Iowa. Outside the barn lies an expanse of outdoor wonder, where campers will explore the natural world; conduct field studies of local plants and birds; forage through woodlands using search images to gather samples; and combine samples into artwork using fiber art, hand printing and other mediums. We will build your child’s skills working with natural resources to create texture for dynamic designs they can be proud of!

This camp is for children ages 6-9. No prior experience in art is necessary. The price of this camp includes all art supplies and materials.

Campers will delve into:

Mud pie art

Foraging

Mandela building

Rubbing

Hand Printing

Drawing

Story telling

Camp sessions run from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Bring a sack lunch – snacks and water provided. Parents/Guardians of participants will be asked to sign a waiver and release form at drop off on the first day.
