WAM Intern Showcase 

Founded in 2003, Women's Audio Mission is an award-winning nonprofit dedicated to closing the gender gap in music production, the recording arts, and technology. In a field where women and gender-expansive individuals are chronically under-represented (less than 5%), WAM is changing the face of sound through providing training, mentoring, recording studio access, and learning and job placement for more than 20,000 girls, women, and gender-expansive people.By purchasing a ticket for this event, I grant Women's Audio Mission and its staff, volunteers, professional photographers and the media the absolute right and permission to take during the event, and to use and publish, photographs of me, still or moving, with or without my name, and to reproduce same through any media, for artistic, promotional, advertising, web content or other commercial and non-commercial purposes, and I shall not be entitled to any monetary compensation of any kind in respect thereof.

Women's Audio Mission

For our June member meeting, current WAM interns will present the projects they've worked on throughout the semester!  Presentations will include sound design for film, podcasts, video art, handmade pedals, and more!
This is a great chance to experience the WAM Studio in a casual setting -  we will have work stations set up to explore Pro Tools, synthesizers, and more! Refreshments will be provided.
