Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park (FLSSP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting, enhancing and promoting Lake Sammamish State Park. The organization was founded in 2013 by concerned citizens interested in preserving and improving this natural environmental treasure.

Walk’n Wag is for dogs, dog lovers & spectators!

Although we cannot gather in person for Walk&#x27;n Wag this year, dogs and dog lovers are still invited to participate in the 3k scenic walk and pet show virtually!It&#x27;s easy...come to Lake Sammamish State Park to walk the 3k with your pet. A scenic course will be set up from August 27-September 20. 3K walk starts from the NE side of the Tibbett’s beach parking lot. All you need to do is take a picture with your dog in the park and send to director@flssp.org. Registration is free! Pictures will be posted on our website and on Facebook.If you want to enter the pet show, please register and send us a photo with the category. Pet show categories include best dressed, smallest dog, best eyes, dog/owner look alike, best voice and best trick. Best entries will be posted on Facebook for a vote!Everyone who registers in either the pet show or the walk and sends us a photo will be entered in a raffle. Everyone who makes the suggested donation of $25 or more can pickup a bag full of goodies for your dog and a cool dog toy, from the Lake Sammamish State Park Office, Monday to Friday between 8 am to 5 pm ( closed on weekends ) Please note that all dogs must be on a leash.**Walk’n Wag is a fundraiser.
