A nine-day annual festival that offers an insider's look into the heart of Washington DC's heritage, culture, and arts.

WalkingTown DC (WTDC), our longest running program, returns to our calendar of events from Saturday, September 17 through Sunday, September 25. WTDC is DC&#x27;s best public tour program, featuring 50 guided walking tours in neighborhoods throughout the District. This popular event takes place annually in September and introduces residents and visitors to the art, culture, and history of Washington, DC through a series of &quot;bite-size&quot; lunchtime tours, after-work &quot;happy hour&quot; tours, and longer weekend tours. WTDC connects you to well-known and unfamiliar places. This is a free and public event. Individual registration is required to attend the tours. We will send the list of tours when it is ready for you to select the tours of your preference.
