The APA Transportation Committee is thrilled to announce a Walking Tour of the EDC’s East Midtown Greenway Waterfront Project, guided by our partners at Stantec, the creative minds behind this eagerly awaited addition to Manhattan’s greenway network.
Our tour will cover this exciting new pedestrian and cycling route, spanning from East 53rd to 61st Streets. Attendees will gain insights from the Stantec team regarding the process of shaping this dynamic urban enhancement, including civil engineering, waterfront engineering, structural engineering, landscape architecture, public art coordination, traffic engineering, electrical engineering, and communication systems design.
We will meet at the Red Sculpture at Andrew Haswell Green Park (Top of the 60th Street ramp).
