Date: Tuesday, September 27, 2022Time: 6:30 - 8:00 pmCouncillor Keren Tang and City of Edmonton staff from Affordable Housing, Edmonton Fire Rescue Services and Integrated Infrastructure Services will be sharing current information on this conceptual project. As indicated in a <a href="https://pub-edmonton.escribemeetings.com/filestream.ashx?DocumentId=158490." target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">June Council report</a>, Walker Station would be a fire / ambulance station that also includes supportive housing.This meeting will provide information that will address many of the recent enquiries to the Ward Karhiio office. Because this project is still at a very preliminary stage and would not be completed until 2028, this is not an official engagement session. However, there will be an opportunity to ask questions, and City of Edmonton staff will outline what steps will take place before any formal engagement process begins.To learn more about the Walker Integrated Fire Station Project, please read the <a href="https://pub-edmonton.escribemeetings.com/filestream.ashx?DocumentId=158490." target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Council Report</a>.Any interested residents in Walker and adjacent neighbourhoods are welcome.
