Edward A. Fultz is a graduate of Morehouse College and Howard University School of Law. Currently, he is a mid-level associate in the Entertainment and Media Group at Reed Smith in the Washington, D.C. office. He practices in all aspects of advertising, marketing, promotions, and brand protections. In addition, he drafts a variety of music contracts including mastering, mixing, producing, royalties, and rights of publicity.

He is involved with the guidance in the application of video games, NFTs, the metaverse, and Web3. He drafts trademark and copyright applications and maintain registrations, analyze clearance opinions for risk assessments, and draft cease and desist letters, which includes the prosecution and enforcement of trademark rights. He has draft, review, and negotiate a range of agreements, including designer brand agreements, endorsement and talent agreements, and digital content licenses. He is involved with drafting terms and conditions and social medial guidelines.

Outside the firm, Edward is a DJ for a variety of professional events in the Washington D.C. area. He is a chess instructor, where he mentors and instructs K-12 on the game of chess. Lastly, he is a Co-Host for The Common Nomad Podcast discussing the nuance of friendship.
