WakeEd-WCPSS STEMposium

WakeEd Partnership is an independent, nonprofit organization committed to supporting staff and students in the Wake County Public School System. Through business and community partnerships, we are connecting employers with educators to provide professional development, grant funding, and resources needed to prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s jobs. WakeEd also advocates for educators at the state and national level in support of evidenced-based best practices and policies that support effective teaching. Great things are happening for students in the Wake County Public School System.
In 2018, WakeEd’s <A HREF="http://www.wakeed.org/programs/summerstem/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SummerSTEM program</A> empowered one hundred K-12 teachers to bring real-world lessons to the classroom through partnerships with leading STEM organizations in the Triangle.
Visit PNC Arena between 10:00 a.m. and noon to meet these inspired educators and their students, and see the impact of strategic business-school partnerships and project-based learning on student achievement and career-readiness.
