Our retreats are very special and unique because they are guided by Awakened Zen Master Thich Dieu Thien, also respectfully known as the Awakened One.

From her Great Vow, the Awakened One stepped into this world to Wake Up the Awake potential in all people to return to the Awake Home and end all suffering. The Awake Home is our original, true Home… pure, serene, full of wisdom and compassion, open, fresh, bright, clear, vast and spacious. Free from all the judging, comparing and the dualities such as good/bad, right/wrong, high/low, love/hate, there is true, unconditional love for all beings.

Universal Door Meditation Center, founded by the Awakened One, welcomes people of all backgrounds, races, ages, cultures, and religions.
