Wacky Fish Camp - 2026

Overview

A camp for our youngest adventurers!

Two opportunities for kids to play in the woods with us!

Monday, June 15 - Saturday, June 20
AND
Monday, August 17 - Saturday, August 22

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Overnight campout: Friday 5:00pm to Saturday 9:00am (adults and families invited!)

For students entering Pre-K through 1st Grade

PLEASE NOTE: Due the popularity of this camp, we kindly request that families limit their child to one session per summer.

You are never too young to start exploring outside! Entering Pre-K through First Graders, come explore the CWC Alpine Science Institute at a camp just for you! Build forts and fairy houses, sing songs, get to know the trees and animals, and make a lot of noise outside. There will be fun filled days with art, nature, and creating a love for the outdoors.

At the end, adults and families will be invited for a night of camping and howling at the moon! Students and their grownups will camp out at the Alpine Science Institute. Families will need to provide their own tents and sleeping bags. Dinner and breakfast will be provided. Students will need to bring a sack lunch each day.

This camp is made possible, in part, with funding from the Lander District Recreation Board.
