The 2024 Adjutant General's Militia Ball and Farewell Dinner will bring you back to the WW2 1940s era, with a live Big Band, swing dancing, and themed décor. We cordially invite all Washington National Guard Service Members (Past and Present), Civilian and Technician employees, and their guests to our annual formal Gala event. After an extended delay due to COVID-19, we are ready to get the team back together in a fun and friendly setting to celebrate all our accomplishments as well as honor the long and prestigious career of our Adjutant General, Major General Daugherty.

What to wear?
This is a 1940s themed formal event, so periodic dress is encouraged. Because of the themed event, the Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) is authorized for wear during this formal event.
In lieu of themed attire or the AGSUs, the uniform should be: Mess Uniform, Mess-Dress, Dress Uniform, or Formal dining equivalent.
Want to choose where you sit?
- Pre-Reserved Tables - Tables that are labeled with names (ie. TAG, Gold Star, 205th, etc.) are designated for that entity to determine occupants. Unless specifically told by the owning entity, please do not select seats at those pre-identified "named" tables.
- General Seating - General seating options are identified by table number and seat number. All seats are open to general seating, outside of the pre-reserved tables identified for major commands and general officers.
- Group Reservations - If a group of ten want to reserve a table, please contact your service POC (below) to discuss the options. If a group reservation is requested, all ten occupants must be available to purchase the seats once a table has been designated for the requesting group or the seats are released back to the general public.

Worried because you can’t swing dance?
Free group lessons during social hour will be provided, so you can navigate the dance floor like a pro! Lessons will be from 5:00 - 5:30pm.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes. A printed ticket is required for admission.
What is the refund policy?
No refunds will be granted after 1 March 2024.
