Join us at Share Food Program! Sorting and packing nutritious food for the community!
For Volunteering Untapped's September event, we're back with Share Food Program.
Share Food Program leads the fight against food insecurity in the Philadelphia region, by serving an expansive, quality partner network of community-based organizations and school districts engaged in food distribution, education and advocacy. SFP distributes food to hundreds of thousands neighbors in need each month, over 50% of whom are children and seniors or people with disabilities.
We will be helping assemble boxes, pack boxes with food, and load boxes of food onto trucks or into a prep area for delivery to the community.
Minimum age for warehouse volunteers is 13 years old. All volunteers under 18 years old must have a chaperone.
