About this event

  • 2 hours 30 minutes

As a Visitor Service Volunteer (VSV), you will be trained to greet and engage visitors, ensuring a rewarding experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will work at least once shift per month. To volunteer, you do not need to be an expert, though we welcome VSV’s with a variety of interests and talents to share!

Typical duties include welcoming guests, restocking handouts, answering questions, and keeping the space tidy. Besides simply feeling great about supporting Cylburn, benefits for regular volunteers include an annual volunteer appreciation event, free membership to Cylburn Arboretum Friends (CAF), and camaraderie with other volunteers. After you have been trained, you will have the opportunity to sign up on an online calendar for the shifts that work well for your schedule!

Organized by
