We're seeking enthusiastic students aged 18 to 35 years old who are eager to explore entrepreneurship and develop their soft skills in a virtual environment. No prior VR experience is required – just an open mind and a willingness to learn!

What should I expect during the VR training?

The VR training is expected to last approximately 4h with several breaks during the session. You will join a group of four (4) participants and will take part in very amusing discussions, scenario analysis, and activities led by an instructor.

When is the VR training scheduled to take place, and on what date?

Slots for the VR training will be available from the 20th to the 24th of May 2024, from 10 am to 6 pm. Enrolled participants will receive specific guidelines about the training through email, and will be asked to specify their preferred date and time slot for the training.

The training will be conducted at the Department of Information Technology, Poznań University of Economics and Business, al. Niepodległości 10 | 61-875 Poznań. Specific details about the location will be shared by email upon enrolment

Is this part of a research study?

Yes. This VR training is organized and conducted as part of a thesis research project titled:  The potential of XR-based entrepreneurship education for business soft-skills development: A pilot study assessment on future student entrepreneurs.

Who is organizing this VR training / study?

The study is conducted  and supervised by the Department of Information Technology of Poznań University of Economics and Business as part of the Erasmus M.Sc. in Transition, Innovation and Sustainability Environments (TISE)

Who's leading the VR training?

Armando Carias is a highly trained Certified International Coach with extensive experience coaching entrepreneurs at the international level. He has created and managed businesses and has participated in international acceleration processes, such as the Hult Prize Competition and Rethinking Ireland

Is the VR training safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  The VR training has been designed to respect PUEB's ethical research guidelines and safety considerations. All data of participants will be kept confidential and anonymous. Upon enrolment, participants will receive specific guidelines about the training, safety, and ethics considerations.
