All volunteers, new and returning, are required to attend a mandatory training session conducted by the LACF Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteers are ONLY required to attend one (1) of the LACF volunteer training sessions. The training sessions will be scheduled when you sign up. You will be notified by the volunteer coordinator regarding the dates and location of training. Attendance at this training session is a requirement for becoming a volunteer with LACF. During training, you can expect to:

  • Learn about the different volunteer roles/ responsibilities
  • Learn more about the organization, and your role in it
  • Meet and connect with other LACF committee members
  • Connect with other volunteers
  • Get updates and more
