About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Volunteers are needed to assist City staff, the Green Space Advisory Board, and the Oakland County CISMA pull invasive garlic mustard in our Harding Green Space. Plucking out the pesky invaders when they’re young and tender isn’t hard work, but it does take a lot of hands!

The City of Rochester Hills continues to work to conserve and protect the Green Spaces and natural features within the city. As part of this, the city looks to engage residents in stewardship of these properties and to offer an opportunity to work alongside professionals while having an active stake in the management of our natural features.

Please wear appropriate footwear and bring gloves if you have them.

Parking is available at Rivercrest Professional Center, 940 W. Avon Rd.

Organized by

The City of Rochester Hill’s Parks & Natural Resources Department, through their Outdoor Engagement unit, holds multiple programs for individuals and families throughout the year that highlight the many natural offerings available.
