Volunteer: Portola Food Distribution

Volunteer with Family Connections! Help us assemble bags of fruit, vegetables, and pantry items for families in San Francisco to take home.

We recommend casual and comfortable clothing. Volunteers will be lifting bags of groceries, so sneakers and clothing that can get a little dirty are helpful.

After groceries are packed, volunteers are welcome to visit the Portola Greenway and help Family Connections staff to water the flowers and trees in gardens. (Optional, but helpful, and an especially fun project when the weather is nice!)
