Volunteer - PAS: Children First Leadership Academy - Fall

Join teaching artists as they lead Kindergarten through 8th-grade students through various workshops. These fall workshops include:

• Chinese Art
• Spoken Word
• Junk Art
• Hip Hop (Movement)
• Say Yes to the Press (Printing)

Teaching Artists include Mei-Kuei Chan Cruise, Mic Maven and Sean Avery, XICO Gallery and Niamey Thomas!

Volunteers need to be available for the whole shift, each session, for the most of the series (entire series preferred). All volunteers must wear their BLUE Art Heals t-shirt.

The series will launch with a full immersion day on Wednesday, August 23rd 8:00 AM-12:00 PM. This will be with the whole campus.

Dates for classes include Wednesdays: August 30th, September 6th, September 13th, September 20th, September 27th, and October 4th, all from 7:40 AM – 11:15 AM.

Sessions with students
4th-8th Grade students from 8:10 AM -9:10 AM
Kinder-3rd Grade Students 9:45 AM-10:45 AM
