Volunteer Night is a great way to get involved at FCW. Some of our volunteers are experienced mechanics while others have no mechanical knowledge at all, but are interested in learning how to repair and maintain their own bikes as well as helping others do the same. The shop isn’t open for repairs on Volunteer Night so we can focus on getting things done around the shop, getting to know one another better, and further developing our skills.
On Volunteer nights, we typically focus on:

<LI> fixing bicycles to be sold through the shop</LI>
<LI>disassembling bicycles that are better used for spare parts</LI>
<LI>cleaning the shop space</LI>
<LI> sorting used parts</LI>
<LI>labeling and pricing</LI>
<LI>creative art projects in the shop</LI>
<LI> making shop improvements</LI>
<LI>and so on</LI>
</UL>
Whatever your interests, FCW has a place for you as a volunteer! We look forward to meeting you.
