About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join us for this online Volunteer Managers' Forum to connect, learn and work together to improve volunteering in Perth and Kinross. Come join us online for an exciting event focused on a community of practise - solving problems together. This forum is perfect for volunteer managers looking to become more inclusive and supportive, as well as to support anyone who works with volunteers to improve the quality of their practise.

This month we have a focus on Employer Supported Volunteering or ESV. Explore best prctice and ask questions like: Do you have an ESV policy at your own organisation? How can you as an organisation, make the most of the volunteer hours offereed when you are approached by an employer? What can make the experience more impactful?

If you work with volunteers, don't miss out on this opportunity to make a difference in your community!

Frequently asked questions

Is the venue accessible?

Unfortunately, this venue is up several flights of stairs and does not have a lift.

Where can I park?

There are limited on street parking for blue badge holders but these are often quite busy. Scott street car park is within walking distance. Please consider using public transport to reach this city centre venue.

How do I find the room?

Enter through the charity shop letting staff know you are attending a meeting or if travelling by car, there is a building entry door just off the Scott street car park accessible by using the intercom button located to the left of the access door.

I'm not a volunteer manager, can I come?

This forum is open for anyone who works with volunteers as part of their paid or voluntary roles, you don't have to have the title of 'Volunteer Manager'.

Can I add something to the agenda?

Sure! Just email our development officer for volunteering, Emily, at emily.skilton@thirdsectorpk.org.uk or bring something for Any Other Business (AOB) on the day.
