Volunteer Management Workshop
A hands-on workshop for community gardens and orchards ready to build or strengthen their volunteer programs.
Looking to strengthen your community garden or orchard's volunteer program? Join Food Well Alliance staff, Charles Jackson Jr. and flannery pearson-clarke, for a hands-on workshop about managing volunteers with confidence.
What You'll Learn:
- Strategies for recruiting and engaging volunteers
- Tools to keep projects running smoothly
- Practical leadership skills
Whether you're currently managing volunteers or just getting started, this workshop is a chance to connect with other community gardens and orchards leaders, and leave with resources to make your volunteer program thrive.
We're also hosting the 2026 Fall Compost Giveaway on the same day from 10 am - 3 pm. Bring your buckets to load up on compost after the workshop!
Parking & Getting to the Workshop:
Parking in our office lot may be limited due the compost giveaway, but additional parking is available on Jefferson Street.
The workshop will take place in the downstairs area of our warehouse, which should be easily accessible from the parking lot.
Registration Fee:
Registration for this workshop is $5 and includes refreshments!
Scholarships are available on request. Please reach out to gardens@foodwellalliance.org.
