Who can be a Big?

Accepted Answer

Any San Diego County Resident, 18 years or older, with a valid SSN, driver's license, and access to reliable transportation, who can pass a background check.

What is the time commitment?

Twice a month for 2 hours, 6-month minimum commitment.

What is the current wait to become a Big?

Accepted Answer

We very much need Big Brothers as a majority of Littles on our waitlist are boys. We are also in need of Spanish speakers. The wait is longer to become a Big Sister. The timeline depends on your location and your preferences.

Question 4

Where can I park during the event?

Accepted Answer

There is a paid garage in our building and there is also free street parking near by.

Question 5

What should I do once I arrive?

Accepted Answer

Once you arrive someone from our office will meet you in the main lobby and bring you up to our office which is on the 5th floor.
