Overview of educational information about Alzheimer's Disease and related dementia.

Summit County Public Health Senior and Adult Services Program is conducting training presentations about Alzheimer's Disease, related dementias and behavioral interventions. These trainings are focused around grant work related to making Summit County an Age-Friendly and Dementia Capable Community. We want to improve awareness and access to resources, promote prevention and early detection of brain related disease, prevent falls and help older people enjoy safer, more independent lives. After registration , you will receive an email with a link to a google form to complete PRIOR to logging into the training. This pre-screening will include questions and demographic information. After the training a link with the post-screening/evaluation will be sent via email. The information collected in these surveys are combined and used for reporting requirements for the grant. Individuals that are requesting CEU hours will be required to complete an evaluation of the presenter.After registration you will receive a link to the virtual meeting platform to use to log in on the day/time of the training.
