Description

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FROM ITS ORIGINAL DATE OF OCTOBER 17.

Population health demands a diverse set of skills to meet the needs of today—and even more so tomorrow. In this session, we'll chat with two health commissioners, one from an urban district in Ohio, one from rural, to get their perspectives of how budding public health practitioners can prepare for work in population health.

The discussion will feature:

Katie Seward, MPH '10, CHES, Health Commissioner and Executive Director, Tuscarawas County Health Department

Joe Mazzola, MPA, Health Commissioner, Franklin County Public Health

Moderated by Teresa C. Long, MD, MPH, Special Advisor of Community Engagement & Partnership, College of Public Health

Refreshments will be provided at 2:30 p.m., followed by the discussion from 3:00 - 4:15.

This discussion is presented in partnership with the Public Health Graduate Student Association and Public Health Student Leadership Council.
