Women's voices have been curbed from generations, resulting in wounds in our voice and expression which at time are ours or sometimes passed on from our female ancestors. Wounded voices tend to hold trauma, fear, guilt, shame or feelings of being too much or too less within us while expressing. This workshop is a step towards identifying and connecting with what is holding you back from authentically expressing and utilizing various somatic tools to help energetically clear any blocks present within you.

Please note this event is a safe space for all those who identify as women including trans, non-binary. Host uses pronouns she/her.

What to expect

This is going to be an intimate circle like setting. We will be spending ~75 min in the embodiment practices and the last ~45 min will be a sound bath journey to help integrate the process. There will be sharing circles, meditation practice, somatic practices involving voice, intuitive movements, during our 75 min together. You are encouraged to bring in a journal and pen. This space is expected to be a safe and sacred container and all participants are expected to be supportive and respectful torwads each others experiences.

Recording (Photos/videos/Voice or any other format) while the workshop is in progress strictly prohibited. At the end of the workshop, I would like to capture a picture of us only if you provide consent.

Please note that healing is a journey which may take days to years and everybody has their own pace. This 2 hour workshop is a doorway towards the healing process and you will be learning tools to connect with the process but it may or may not provide you any instant healing. Also please note, consenting to register for this workshop is not replacement for therapy or licensed medical advice.

Please note by registering you are releasing the host or any participants of any liabilty and taking full responsibilty of yourself, your actions or any damages, that you incur during the workshop.

Things to bring

  1. A journal and a pen
  2. Please arrive on time to settle in.
  3. You will be sitting or doing some inituitive movements or using your voice during the workshop and then lying down during the sound bath.
  4. Please wear comfortable clothes. Wear clothes in layers as you may feel warm during movement practices but may feel cold during meditation or sound bath.
  5. Bring a pillow or support for your neck lying down.
  6. You can bring an eye mask to go in deeper during sound bath.
  7. Bring a shawl or a blanket to feel cozy and warm when you lie down during sound bath.
  8. Bring a water bottle to keep hydrated.
