Come explore how Visual Practice and Presencing intersect, in this unique residential program.

Join a growing eco-system of practitioners who use the art of scribing to bridge ecological, social, and spiritual divides. Scribing – a process of drawing while people talk – provides a mirror that can help a system see itself in new light. With intention to build navigational capacity for the rapidly changing times in which we we live, this program will focus on:

  • Activating the Open Mind, Open Heart, and Open Will
  • Reviving aesthetics as a key sense-making discipline
  • Cultivating regional and global community

The 3-day intensive introduction to Visual Presencing will be facilitated by: Kelvy Bird, Jayce Pei Yu Lee, and Lili Xu Brandt. The program will be held in Chinese and English, with translation available.

Regular: 19,800RMB ($2800)
Non profit: 13,800RMB ($2000)
Previous visual workshop attendees: 10,800RMB ($1600)
Limited scholarship: 6,800RMB ($1000)

Fees include course materials and supplies, lunches, dinners, and breaks from Tuesday evening through Friday afternoon. Accommodation is not included in the fee; you will need to make your own Bed & Breakfast reservations. You will also need to organise your own Transport to and from the venue.

In order to create an optimal learning environment, we will try to welcome a mix of visual and Theory U practitioners. In this context we might contact you prior to confirming your participation. Also a short phone interview will be arranged after the registration.

Refund Policy

The amount paid minus a 700RMB ($100) processing fee will be refunded for all cancellations received in writing before October 20, 2017. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after that time. The Presencing Institute is not liable for an event cancellation due to sickness, riots, epidemics, or acts of god.
