About this event

How a photographer sees and captures the world in their photos is called “vision.” It is what makes your work unique, and transcends the “rules” we are so often taught.

Vision can be developed and improved with learning and encouragement. This class will help you develop your vision by looking carefully at your work and identifying your best photos, finding themes and “stories” within your photography (some you might not even recognize), and improving the presentation of those photos.

This class will help you build confidence and understanding of your body of work, strengthen your portfolio, and provide road maps for future work and improvement.

The class will meet four times over Zoom, with weekly assignments for each class, and individual review of each student’s assignments. Recommended for intermediate to advanced students. Two homework assignments of one hour each required before session one and two.

This class will meet four times for two hours per session for a total of eight hours of instruction. Sessions will be recorded and available for one month.
