Variant 6's 2022-23 Season

This season, Variant 6 celebrates the power of virtuosic voices in three distinct programs in Philadelphia, Princeton, and NYC.

Variant 6 and Filament join forces to explore the myriad ways French composers wrote sacred music at the turn of the 18th Century. Our program, Virtue and Vice includes the moving and meditative Litanies de la Vierge, a dramatic telling of the martyrdom of St. Cecilia by Marc-Antoine Charpentier, and a selection of New World motets that were collected and performed in an Ursuline abbey in 18th-century New Orleans. ALL TICKETS ARE GENERAL ADMISSION. Variant 6 and Filament believe in making our tickets available to people of all income levels. Please select the ticket price that fits with your budget. COVID-19 POLICY: Variant 6 and Filament reserve to right to ask for proof of vaccination and to require all audience members to be masked for the duration of the concert, in accordance with local city and state guidelines.
