During our monthly virtual writing sessions, we invite you to join us and create new poems based on writing prompts shared with the group. You have the option to share your work if you wish.
We are holding space specifically for women of color and ask that only individuals who identify as such participate. We will discuss themes in our writing that may relate to our identities. Poets of all experiences/education are welcome!
A Zoom link will be provided to all registrants prior to the event.
Nido Poetry Collective is a group dedicated to creating a space for women of color poets to discuss poetry and generate new poetry in community. We curate virtual writing sessions and in-person writing sessions. We host in-person events primarily in the Washington DC Metro Area.
