Am I eligible to attend your events for underrepresented writers?

Accepted Answer

We leave it up to the individual to determine whether or not they self-identify as being underrepresented in terms of race/ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, sex, gender, socio-economic class, neurodivergence, disability, and refugee/immigration status.

Question 2

Can I only attend one event?

Accepted Answer

It is essential for the success of the event that all participants attend all three sessions, regardless of when their submission is critiqued. Remember that others are relying on you providing your thoughts on their writing just as much as you relied on them for your own work.

Question 3

Why do you only accept Google Docs?

Accepted Answer

Not everyone has access to Microsoft Word (including our volunteers!), and it’s always risky to accept files through submission forms and emails. We find using Google Docs is the safest way for us to access and provide feedback on your work.
