Get your coding skills up to speed with an animated virtual chase scene.

Kick your coding skills into high gear with an animated virtual chase scene. Work with interactive web app CoSpaces to create a 3D chase, using drag-and-drop tools and simple code to bring it to life. BE DETERMINED to go beyond coding basics, adding animations, tweaking characters and troubleshooting your scene to perfection. Cut to the chase as you drop into and engage with your own immersive experience.What You&#x27;ll Need: Technology<ul><li> Mac or PC computer (NOT a Chromebook or tablet) with speaker, camera and at least 8GB of RAM</li><li>Optional (but recommended): a computer mouse</li><li> Internet access</li><li> Zoom application installed, signed in with child’s name&quot;</li></ul>What You&#x27;ll Need: Additional Prep<ul><li> Join the class in CoSpaces:</li><li> If this is your first VR class with Galileo, go to CoSpaces.io, register a student account and sign up using the class code provided in your enrollment email</li><li> If you&#x27;ve already taken a VR Class with Galileo, log into your child&#x27;s CoSpaces account, go to Classes, click Join Class and enter the class code provided in your enrollment email</li><li> Make sure your child knows how to secondary click (i.e., right click) on their mouse or trackpad&quot;</li></ul>NotesEnrollment includes a Pro subscription to CoSpaces virtual reality software (valid through April 2021), so kids can keep working on their chase scene—and other virtual creations—after class. While we offer a similar class for younger kids, the pacing and content of this class is carefully calibrated for rising 6th – 8th graders.
