Join the American Red Cross Validation team on Wed June 23rd for a virtual mappy hour!

On Wed June 23rd we will gather virtually on zoom. All skillsets welcome as training will be provided! Who: Maplovers! No validation experience needed. We will provide buddies from our validation group to help you progress your skills. What: Please join us for an American Red Cross Missing Maps mapathon! We&#x27;ll have a group training on OpenStreetMap (OSM) and a talk on Missing Maps and how OSM data is used by the Red Cross.When: Wed June 23rd, 8:00pm - 9:30pm ESTWhere: Zoom - we will email a link the day beforeWhy: Because maps are powerful and we need your help to keep them accurate and respectful! WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? Please charge your laptop, track down your mouse, and grab your learning ears! If you aren&#x27;t already using JOSM, please download that ahead of time <a href="https://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Download" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>. It’s an amazing piece of software that allows you to map more efficiently! WHAT DO I DO NOW? Get yourself an eventbrite ticket for the event then go and tell your friends!
