This landscape professional certification training is sponsored by the Regional Water Authority.
The Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper Professional (QWEL) certification program provides landscape professionals 21 hours of education on local water supply, sustainable landscaping, soils, landscape water budgets, irrigation system components and maintenance, irrigation system audits, and scheduling and controller programming. In order to obtain the QWEL certification, an individual must demonstrate their ability to perform an irrigation system audit as well as pass the QWEL exam. This training qualifies for CEUs.
Training will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the following dates:
- October 11, 2021
- October 13, 2021
- October 18, 2021
- October 20, 2021 - Audit
- October 25, 2021
- October 27, 2021
- Exam is included
QWEL is recognized as a WaterSense labeled Professional Certification Program for Irrigation System Audits. Upon successful completion graduates may be listed as a Certified Professional on the WaterSense website.
