We are a woman-owned small business established in 2018 as the first tourism company in the nation's capital to focus exclusively on women's history. Our licensed, professional tour guide elevate women’s stories into a more prominent place in American history and culture.

While callboxes were once part of the city's emergency services system, today many stand as public art installations. Eight boxes have recently been converted to share the story of eight significant women in our city's history, ranging from Katherine Graham to Alice Paul, Mary Church Terrell to Julia Ward Howe. This virtual tour will give a brief overview of the project, showcase the callboxes, and introduce you to these women who changed our city and helped shape our nation.THE DETAILS: A recording of the tour will be available for one week before expiring. Join us on Zoom to communicate with our tour guide in real time! Share comments and messages through the chat box during the tour or hop on video after the program for a meet and greet. This tour is a digital presentation in which our public historians highlight places relevant to women's history in the Washington, DC area.
