VIRTUAL STUDIO SESSIONS: 
Spring Artist Meetups hosted by the Elisabet Ney Museum

Join us for our new biweekly virtual artist meet-ups for adults, the Virtual Studio Sessions!These will take place every other Thursday, on March 11, 25, April 8 &amp; 22 from 6 to 7:30 pmEach class will feature different art activities and demonstrations focused on experimentation with a variety of mediums. This is a great opportunity to meet other artists and work on creative projects at home or within your own studio space. This first session will be on Representational Collages! Explore the connection between form and content by experimenting with this collage technique. Participants will start out by drawing a silhouette of an object or model (perhaps a loved one?) onto a sheet of paper. Then, we will cut and paste magazine images to form a representational collage. This is the perfect opportunity to work with found images while examining the meaning-making process. SUPPLY LIST ● large sheet of paper ● magazine cut-outs ● scissors ● glue stick ● markers or colored pencils Each class&#x27;s activity description and supply list will be provided prior to the session through the museum&#x27;s Facebook and Eventbrite pages.
