The FREE Special Events Workshop is led by the SCDOR's Alcohol Beverage Licensing (ABL) team.

The SCDOR requires individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations to apply for special event licenses when they are hosting events in which alcohol will be sold, donated, served, and/or consumed. This workshop is for anyone who is in the catering and/or bartending business, nonprofits that hold fundraisers, promoters, or anyone who is planning on providing beer, wine and/or liquor at an event. We'll cover the different special event applications and the requirements for each license type. We will discuss who should be the applicant, when is a license required, what is an unlicensed social function and the limitations on the licenses. This class is ONLY offered online.Approximately one week prior and the day before the webinar, you will receive another e-mail containing a PDF version of all course materials and log on instructions.
