Virtual Production has been a term that has become very common in the past 12 months in Hollywood. Covid-19 has forced filmmakers to reconsider their production methodologies while shows like Disney's The Mandalorian are leveraging new and familiar augmented technologies to produce impossible storytelling. We bring together local Virtual Productions experts who are moving the needle and building technologies that are paving the future of content production. Mariana Acuña is a technologist, pixel pusher, and entrepreneur. During her years at Foundry she focused on Virtual Reality post-production workflows, as the Head of Creatives in the Americas. Mariana is a pioneer in her hometown Mexico City, where she founded the first VR and 360 video production and branding agency JoltVR. Most recently she co-founded Glassbox Technologies, where she leads the roadmap for new and existing technology, developing tools for Virtual Production using Virtual Reality to transform the way filmmaking is done today. Before her switch into software, she worked as an on-set VFX supervisor &amp; senior digital artist.

Rene is the Co-Founder and CEO of ARwall, an AR/XR technology company that builds award-winning solutions in virtual production and touch-free interactive virtual experientials, which won prizes at SXSW, CES, and more. ARwall's newest product, launched this summer, is ARFX Home Studio; an all-in-one virtual production system made simple enough for creators, hosts, and performers to create amazing XR illusions at home. Prior to ARwall, he was general manager and creative director at Automaton, a creative ad agency; and worked as a commercial video director with over 150 campaigns under his belt.

Veronica Flint is an award-winning Director and Virtual Filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. Her background includes interactive media, virtual production, and augmented reality projects. Some of her well-known projects have been showcased at a variety of top festivals including Sundance, SXSW, and Tribeca. Branded XR works include Oculus Studios, AMD, Google, IMAX, and Nickelodeon. She has worked in the space previously as an animator, creative technologist, and lead developer.

John is an award-winning writer and producer using the Unreal Engine to make movies, VR and AR. He was the writer of Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare, the biggest selling video game of 2014. His work in VR and AR for clients such as Netflix and HTC Vive have garnered awards and been seen around he world. He has also been the recipient of two Epic Games Mega Grants for his cutting edge work with digital human avatars.
