Are you feeling stressed about this upcoming school year? What will it look like? How do you best support your kid(s) as the school year will look like no other? Join other parents to share ideas and connect with mental health resources and expert opinions to discuss your concerns!
Topics will include:
- Transitioning back to school
- Providing structure and organization
- Fostering emotional and social wellness
- Coping with the pressure of independent study
- Meltdowns, ADHD, and anxiety
- Managing screen time
Our hosts, Lauren Bowman and Michelle Dodson, are Clinical Therapists at Wynns Family Psychology. Lauren is the Director of Marriage and Therapy Services at Wynns Family Psychology. Combined, our hosts bring almost a decade of experience working with children, teens, and families in a clinical setting.
Each week will bring different topics to learn, discuss, and engage with relevant resources to empower you (and your child) to successfully navigate the 2020-21 virtual school year. Guest speakers will be brought in to provide additional expertise to the topic and provide opportunity for Q&A.
