Adaptive Leadership: How Improv Theater and Emotional Intelligence can help in uncertain times.

Description: In this presentation we will discuss the rules of improv theater and how these steps can overcome decision paralysis caused by overwhelming uncertainty. We will also discuss how EI provides insight into leading your team in uncertain times.

Speaker: Kenneth Lamb is the Faculty Director of the Student Innovation Idea Labs, and the Faculty Lead for the College of Engineering Leadership Program at Cal Poly Pomona. Kenneth’s engineering professional background is in water resources where he observed that too many projects failed due to poor leadership and not poor engineering or design.
