About this event

The Critical Incident Desensitization (CID) and Acute Traumatic Incident Processing (ATIP) are tools parents, professional, and supports can use to reduce impact of trauma triggers. These methods are related to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is the gold-standard in trauma treatment.

Taylor Mason, AMFT, APC, is a counselor with Bethel Haven and will be leading this Learning to Care. Taylor is a trained marriage and family therapist that seeks to integrate the mind, body, and soul. She has experience working with trauma, life transitions, stress-management, anxiety, and depression, in addition to other topics.

This will be a great introduction for families seeking support tools or to learn more about CID, ATIP, or EMDR!
