NSF I-Corps + Tech Venture Program = $100,000 to Commercialize NYU Research

Join us to explore two immersive opportunities to accelerate the commercialization of technology developed by faculty, postdocs, PhD candidates, and researchers at NYU. This three-part program offers essential training, mentorship, and more than $100,000 in grant funding to support the creation of scalable deeptech ventures. RSVP to learn more.About NSF I-Corps: NSF I-Corps (pronounced &quot;eye-core&quot;) is an <a href="https://www.nsf.gov/news/special_reports/i-corps/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">accelerator program created by the NSF</a> to help translate scientific and engineering discoveries into commercial ventures. Participating teams receive a $50,000 grant and gain real-world, hands-on, immersive learning about what it takes to successfully transfer knowledge into products and processes that benefit society. The NSF runs at least three cohorts a quarter. About the NYU Tech Venture Program: The NYU Entrepreneurial Institute launched the Tech Venture Program (TVP) to fund and support research commercialization by teams of NYU faculty, PhD students, postdocs, and researchers. The TVP is a three-part program, of which NSF I-Corps program is an essential part. Teams can establish eligibility for NSF I-Corps and begin to explore the commercial potential of their ventures through participation in the Tech Venture Workshop (TVW). Upon the successful completion of NSF I-Corps, teams will be invited to apply to the Tech Venture Accelerator. By participating in all three phases, teams are eligible to receive $100,000 in grant funding.
